Tools required :
- Ratchet / wrench (typically 11mm, 13mm, 15mm)
- spray penetrant (WD-40 or other)
Steps :
- Spray all bolts and fittings with penetrant, let sit several minutes
- Remove brake line fitting bolt from caliper
- If you are not keeping the caliper bracket, remove the two bracket bolts
- Loosen and remove the caliper bolts (this may require a breaker bar for leverage)
- Pull the caliper away from the brake disc (you may need a pry bar if jammed)
- If you aren’t keeping the brake pads, you can leave them for the next customer!
